The Crockett County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity for the week:

Incident Highlights:

March 30:
Deputies responded to multiple calls including disturbances on Interstate 10 and Diablo Street, a welfare concern on Avenue E, and a suspicious vehicle on 11th Street. A motor vehicle crash on I-10 required response from DPS and EMS.

March 31:
Deputies handled a disturbance on Mulberry Drive and provided assistance to outside law enforcement agencies on I-10. Fire personnel were also assisted on the interstate.

April 1:
A busy day included several motor vehicle crashes on I-10, County Road 202, and Avenue E, with DPS, Fire, and EMS assisting. Deputies also responded to a disturbance on State Highway 163, a residential alarm on Angus Street, and a road hazard on 13th Street. Additional assistance was provided to fire personnel and a motorist on Avenue J.

April 2:
Deputies assisted stranded motorists on I-10, responded to a reckless driver complaint on Heraclio Street, and provided assistance to an outside agency on the interstate. A vehicle unlock was also performed on Avenue E.

April 3:
Activity included assistance to an outside agency on I-10, a motor vehicle crash on State Highway 137 with EMS response, and a stranded motorist assist.

April 4:
Deputies responded to a motor vehicle crash on FM 2083 with multiple agencies assisting, and provided aid to a stranded motorist on I-10.

April 5:
Deputies responded to motor vehicle crashes on War Admiral Street and Avenue E, with EMS and DPS assisting.

Arrests:

An individual from Tularosa, New Mexico, was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated and Possession of Marijuana under 2 ounces. The subject was arraigned, posted bond, and released.

An individual from San Antonio was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 2 under 1 gram, Possession of Marijuana under 2 ounces, and Fraudulent Use/Possession of Identifying Information. The subject was arraigned, posted bond, and released.

An individual from Stafford, Texas, was arrested for Possession of Marijuana under 2 ounces. The subject was arraigned, posted bond, and released.
