Notable Incidents

Sept. 1: Deputies responded to a suspicious vehicle on 14th Street, a hit-and-run on Avenue G, and an open door on 13th Street. They also assisted the Fire Department with a gas leak on Avenue K and handled a business alarm on Avenue E.

Sept. 2: Deputies were called to disturbances on Avenue E, State Highway 163 North, and Santa Anna Street. They also investigated a suspicious vehicle on State Highway 137 North and addressed a civil matter on Santa Anna Street.

Sept. 3–7: Additional calls included suspected scams, harassment, threats, theft, suspicious persons, and multiple welfare checks. Deputies also responded to minor accidents on Interstate 10, State Highway 137 North, and Sheffield Road, and assisted stranded motorists.
Arrests

Sept. 1: Justin Spencer Williams of Midland was arrested on a Midland County warrant. He was arraigned, posted bond, and released.

Sept. 2 : Kenneth Mark Heikkinen of Shalimar, Fla., was arrested for public intoxication. He was arraigned, posted bond, and released.

Sept. 3: Shirley Ann Morales of San Antonio was arrested for failure to appear and for failure to identify with intent to give false information. She was arraigned and remains in custody.

Sept. 7: Sidney Ray Trujillo-Arbour of Highland Villa was arrested for public intoxication. He was arraigned, posted bond, and released.

Sept 7: Celeste Alisa St-Onge of Pueblo, Colo., was arrested for DWI with open container. She was arraigned, posted bond, and released.
